We were friends. I was working things out and... I don't know. things happened with John. that time I kissed you, I had meant it. I'd come to rely on you and no matter how things have been with Mitch, you were my best friend. you were always there. but then you weren't and there was Selina. It wasn't until maybe this time last year that I worked on sorting things out with my feelings.

[But he screwed that up, remember? And she was bitter and angry and felt stupid for having feelings for him and thought that she was completely wrong, that he couldn't have possibly felt anything for her. It was all in her head. And she was miserable. :(]
