With the kiss drawing in, James leans down to meet her, all to eager to deepen it as a hand at her lower back presses her hips against his. He can't be blamed for a little over enthusiasm. It feels like forever since they were last at it.]
[She hesitates when he pulls her closer, but she snaps out of it long before she removes her tongue from his mouth.
She almost says something, almost, but instead grabs his collar and tugs him toward her and the bed. When her legs hit the mattress, she stumbles and sits down, pulling him on top of her.]
I love you too, darling, and don't forget that so easily.
[All good with the direction of the dragging, planting a knee beside her on the bed as she pulls him with her, just to get his balance sorted. He leans and dusts his lips across the curve of her neck, mumbling out a content little:] You're gorgeous.
You'll have to do worse to make me forget. [ That's not an invitation or a challenge.
She tilts her head back to (hopefully) get her hair out of the way and lets out an appreciative hum. Her hand slides over the curve of his shoulder, quickly turning into a soft raking of her nails. The voice that follows is husky and lascivious.] I do try, handsome.
Or, perhaps it's just difficult to respond to that sort of compliment. "Thank you," just sounds odd, doesn't it?
[But let's not start a conversation right now. She peers to the side, almost embarrassed, but soon meets his eyes.] I hope that you feel that way for a long time. But let's not kill the mood with a talk, alright?
I'm not particularly in the mood for that sort of thing tonight, but I'm not against compromising.
[She doesn't seem to mind the cuddling, either, curling her head toward his while quietly laughing. Don't let her ever try to convince you that she doesn't like this, James.]
[He shifts to slide down into the space beside her, curling into an embrace with an arm and leg draped over her oh-so clingy in his manner. He's been starved of her attention for a few days and needs to make up for it.] I rather need my mouth in this case.
[She quite enjoys this, moving a little to make room for him to latch onto her. Following suit, she leans in, twisting so she faces him.] Is there something you want to talk about?
I thought you didn't want to kill the mood with talk? [Because really, he's all good for just getting raunchy all night long. Not that that's any surprise.]
Oh, I--[She laughs now, bringing the back of her hand to her mouth to cover a growing smile.] Forget it. I would be content just laying here with you, after all.
